The quality and quantity of coaching research has increased considerably, team coaching has gone mainstream, the coaching modality is fundamentally accepted within the business community, coaching platforms are now in a consolidation phase, artificial intelligence (AI) coaching has arrived, and more. This discussion will offer an overview of how coaching is likely to evolve in the coming years and how you can position yourself to take full advantage of the trends.

Speaker Bio:

Joel DiGirolamo is the Director of Coaching Science for the International Coaching Federation (ICF), where he leads the organization’s efforts to develop, curate and disseminate information on the science of coaching. Joel has published numerous articles, book chapters, and white paper on coaching research. He has more than 30 years of staff and management experience in Fortune 500 companies and is the author of two books, Leading Team Alpha and Yoga in No Time at All. Joel holds a master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology from Kansas State University, an MBA from Xavier University, and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University. He is an Associate Editor for Consulting Psychology Journal.
